May 8th

Jesus is calling me to be bold in this season and share my testimony so here's to doing exactly that. Today I am doing yet again another twenty four hour fast.. It truly is by his grace that I am able to even make it past five hours! No food and no water for twenty four hours. For those who don't know, I have Lupus. A stubborn autoimmune disease that just wreaks havoc on my body. Two years ago a fast to even lunch time would wipe me out. I slowly built myself up and now I can make it through a twenty hour fast. Again all by his grace and goodness.

When I feel too tired/weak to continue I open up my Book of Mormon or Bible and am fueled by his words. This season I am fasting for restoration of all things the enemy came to steal, kill, and destroy. I decree and declare right now in Jesus name the enemy no longer wins.. He no longer wins families, marriages, friendships, leadership, politics, homes, spirits, and churches. Have you ever taken the time to truly sit back and think of all God has done in your life? I mean even having eyes to read this right now, and a heart to be accepting of any of this is all by his grace and goodness. Fasting can be difficult. The enemy can't stand when we surrender parts of ourselves to God. When we draw nearer to him, he tries to pull us further. If you can't physically do a long fast, understand God honors any fast. It doesn't even mean you have to give up food/water. Give up something in your life for him. Social media is a huge one. Put the phone down, and pick up his word instead. What is it he is trying to teach you in this moment? What is it the spirit is trying to say to you? If you listen, I mean truly listen with intent for the still soft voice, you will hear him. Fasting is truly a gift from God and I thank him so much for fueling me as I fast this season. I thank him for answered prayers while fasting. So if you're a first timer to fasting, and or a long time faster your Heavenly Father thanks you. I speak with the utmost faith I have that he honors each and every fast. So as I embark on yet another 24 hour fast with no food or water, I know God is moving and I speak life into every single one of you who is as well. As I end every blog post I will always end it with a prayer. I hope you feel of our Saviors love today.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank you so much for today. I thank you for giving me boldness in you during this season to bear my testimony. I thank you Lord for your agape love that shows no bounds and for using me. Lord, I ask that whoever is reading this right now is blessed beyond measure with your goodness. I ask that you comfort them in their time of need, stand beside them through their trials, show them truth, and bind up anything the enemy sends to come and destroy them. I pray for their healing, that circumstances will change, and that the fear inside will flee in Jesus name. I pray your word finds them/us in our everyday lives. That any addictions/afflictions they are facing will be rebuked and cast away completely. Lord, I thank you for all we have and how we come by it. Please continue to use me God, that through me others will know of you. Do something so big and impossible in this season Lord, that people will know it is only you who could have done it. Lord I come before with you a humble and contrite heart. May you continue to be the foundation of my life. I cannot do this, we cannot do this without you, Father. Find the wandering sheep, bring them home as you have done for me. Tear down the enemy and all of his lies, deceit, games, and tactics he has up his sleeve. I speak right now in Jesus name you have already done it. The battle was won at Calvary. Thank you for restoring our broken homes, our families, our marriages, our spirit's, and our belief in you. We love you and say this humbly in the sacred name of our Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
